Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy

Notice of Infringement – Claim

  4. Contact information of the complaining party.
  5. A statement confirming the material is used without authorization.
  6. An assertion that the information provided is accurate and the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Section 17 USC §512(f) outlines penalties for misrepresentation in infringement claims.

Counter Notification – Restoration of Material

If you received a takedown notice due to copyright infringement, you can send a counter notification to have the material restored. The notification should include:

  1. Your signature.
  2. Description of the removed material and its original location.
  3. A statement declaring the removal was a mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and consent to jurisdiction.

Repeat Infringer Policy

We have a strict policy against copyright infringement and monitor repeat offenders as mandated by the DMCA. Those violating the policy will have their accounts terminated.
